Meet the Brentina Cup riders!

Fast Facts: The Brentina Cup (formerly the Passage Cup) is a new competition in 2006 for riders between 18 and 26 competing at the Intermediare II. The Championships will be held at Gladstone, June 15-18. For more information, please see the USEF website.

Biography: Lauren and Bellinger were a major force behind Region 2's Young Rider teams in 2003 and 2004, where they helped bring home two Junior Olympic Bronze medals. In 2005, after qualifying for the Gold-Medal winning NAYRC team, the pair moved up to the Intermediare II and Grand Prix, winning their first two starts, and taking the Region 8 Championship in the Intermediare II class, against professional riders. Lauren and Billy were the winners of the 2005 American Trakehner Association Koenig/NowPac Prize for the Highest Scoring Young Rider in Dressage. Lauren is a 2006 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, NY, where she studied Public Policy and Urban Planning, and holds her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals.
