About the site
This site was founded in April, 2003 to serve as a resource and community-builder for the many gifted and wonderful advanced Juniors and Young Riders of Region 2. It started as an idea of current AYR Lauren Sprieser and, with the amazing support of Rosalind Kinstler, Region 2 rep to the Advanced Young Rider Council, and Roberta Williams, President of the AYR Council, the site took flight!
Team spirit and camaraderie is vital to the success of any team, and this is especially true for FEI Juniors and Young Riders, whose teammates are frequently from different states several hundred miles away. The internet is a way for this future generation of Grand Prix riders, trainers and judges to connect, share and grow.
