The Dressage team at Otterbein College has experienced a great deal of success and popularity since its creation five years ago. The Interscholastic Dressage Association or IDA, governs the dressage competitions that Otterbein attends. Although a fairly new organization, the IDA is growing in popularity, resulting in the first nationwide competition being held in 2002. Otterbein was proud to send a team to the 2002 Nationals, where they placed fourth overall and were the highest placing team from the Midwest Region. Four Otterbein students qualified to compete as individuals at Nationals.
